Moonwalk Tutorial For Beginners

 Hi friends,

Welcome to my first blog. Today, I am going to teach you a famous dance step called moonwalk. It was first done by Michael Jackson back in 80s. No matter if you are beginner. I assure you will be able to do it if you follow these steps and practice continuously. So, please stick to this blog till the end. Let's get started.

I recommend you to choose a smooth floor or wear socks during practice.

Step- 1

Stand erect and turn to your left side. Pick up your right leg, just touch the ground with toe of right leg like shown in the picture above. Keep your left leg flat on the ground.

Step- 2

Now, we use your abs strength to push with your right leg and slide the left leg back. Next you to keep your left leg flat while sliding. After sliding your right leg you should become flat on the ground and left legs should come in your toe. Make sure to keep your balance, keep your weight on the leg which is not sliding. And the beginning it may be difficult but practice will make you perfect. Now you are in the position above.

Step- 3

Now, shift your weight on the left leg which is on the floor and slide the right leg all the way back of your left leg. At the end of this step you need to switch the toe by keeping left leg on the flat and right leg on the toe. Try to keep your balance don't bend your spine it won't look good.

Step- 4

Now shift your weight to the right leg and slide left leg all the way back to right leg and switch the toes.

Now, you just have to repeat step-3 and four continuously you may feel difficult in the beginning to get used to the steps and balance your self. So don't get frustrated if you can't digest it all. Practice is the key so practice keep your core tight during the practice. Try slowly at beginning and as you get better cut off the gap between the steps and make it smooth. Slowly is always harder trust me. Practice! Practice!! Practice!!!

Soon you will be flying over the floor.

If you think this block was helpful. Don't forget to share it with your friends and whoever want to learn it. I will see you in my next blog with brand new tutorials. Thank you for your precious time.
